Anette Timmer-Larsen is the Director of Corporate Communications & CSR at the leading, global carpet and sports pitches company, Desso. She joined Desso in 2006, first as Product Manager and since 2008 as Director of Marketing and Communications. It was at this time the company first developed its Cradle to Cradle® strategy. She has played a central role since that point in enabling Desso to make the transition to the circular economy through marketing and communications. In 2013, she took on the additional responsibility for the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. As a passionate believer in transparent and open communications, Anette has published the company’s first Corporate Responsibility Report to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards, gaining a B+ level status.
As a native Dane, Anette has traversed many cultures working currently in the Netherlands and gaining her degree in Product Design, Innovation and Marketing in the UK. Before working for Desso, she gained international business experience in Product Marketing and Communications with Armstrong World Industries and Trelleborg Group.
Recently, she has followed up her interest in the circular economy by taking an executive course in Enterprise, Innovation and the Circular Economy at the University of Bradford.
