Benjamin Kott is responsible for greening Google's operations in Europe. This includes energy use, building technologies, waste & resource management and employee involvement. In addition, he focuses a significant amount of his time aiming to leverage Google products to drive green behavior at a larger scale among users.
Before Google, Benjamin worked for several years as a management consultant on projects covering the Media, Aerospace and Energy industries, based out of Milan, Italy. Other experiences include work for an Italian utility company, a solar energy startup and a website on electric vehicles and sustainability (ecowhizz.com).
Benjamin holds a degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Munich Technical University, and an MBA from Insead.
