Bernice Lee is Research Director for Energy, Environment and Resource Governance at Chatham House - Royal Institute of International Affairs. She has been Head of the Energy, Environment and Development Programme and Team Leader for the EU-China Interdependencies on Energy and Climate Security Project (also at Chatham House); Director of Policy of the Aga Khan Foundation (UK); Policy and Strategy Adviser of the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development; Warren Weaver Fellow (International Security) at the Rockefeller Foundation; and Research Associate at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. She has also worked at the Strategic Planning Unit of the United Nations Secretary-General's office.
Bernice was awarded an OBE in the 2011 New Year's Honours List for services to UK-China climate change cooperation. Bernice holds degrees from the London School of Economics and from Oxford University, where she was a College Scholar.
