David co-founded 100%Open in 2010, spinning out of UK Government innovation agency NESTA where he led the Corporate Open Innovation programme. In his capacity as Strategy Partner at 100%Open he helps global clients like LEGO, P&G, Oxfam and Orange find valuable innovations from external sources and is increasingly interested in crowdsourcing with consumers as a route to new value. A biology graduate and father of two girls, David has a background in advertising, branding and design, having held strategy directorships at DDB, Seymourpowell and Moving Brands. David is currently writing a book that explains the role of human emotion in decision-making and enjoys photography and restoring old cars.
