Dinah is the Deputy Director of the Global Commission on Business and Sustainable Development, on secondment from the Overseas Development Institute, where she is Director of Strategic Development. Dinah began her career as a Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank, where she focused on on community-based development and financing issues. She then worked as a policy advisor in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit before moving to the private sector, where she held a number of senior roles including head of sustainability for BT Global Services and CSR director for Sandoz, a Novartis-owned pharmaceuticals company. Dinah has conducted research on issues ranging from green growth and sustainable infrastructure financing to development aid effectiveness. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and a BA (Hons) from Columbia University.
