Enese heads up the team of 18 DECC economists and policy specialist tasked with providing and ensuring the coherence of analysis and evidence on energy and market issues across Energy Markets and Infrastructure Group (EMI and DECC).

Before joining the civil service, Enese was the Director leading the Energy Infrastructure and Utilities business of the Economic Consulting (part of Corporate Finance) team of Deloitte Enese’s interest areas included utilities sector regulation, restructuring and liberalization, enterprise restructuring and energy policy appraisal. She worked all across Europe on high-profile issues at the board level, for governments, trade associations and regulators.
