The Forum is monthly dose of inspiration for “social intrapreneurs”, people working in big businesses who are connecting their business with society. We explore the big social issues of our time, such as youth unemployment, climate change and resource constraints, and ask how business can be the solution.
We hear from enlightened leaders such as Sir Ian Cheshire (CEO, Kingfisher), Ronan Dunne (CEO, O2) and Justin King (CEO, Sainsbury’s), and those rolling their sleeves up and developing new business models, fresh ways of measuring progress and are adopting new technologies. We discuss, debate and think out loud.
The events start at 18.00 on Monday evenings, and are held at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in St Paul’s. The main session will typically involve the stage and an audience of 170-200 people, before we break into smaller groups for focused discussion and drinks and informal networking. They’re a great way to build connections and share knowledge.
The Forum has met over 83 times since our launch in 2008, with over 14,000 attending. From our monthly Forum to the Energy Curve to our Co-create process, we help organisations work together to solve wider business and societal issues and share the ingredients needed to create better business.
