Simon Henzell-Thomas

Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Group Social Responsibility Manager


Simon is an integral member of the Sustainability function at Inter IKEA Group, helping to drive their approach to being “People and Planet Positive”. In particular, he leads on the development of strategies and approaches to social issues in the supply chain. Simon is also responsible for leading their stakeholder engagement and partnerships strategy.

Simon has been working in the field of sustainability for over ten years. Prior to his current position, he was Head of Sustainability at the Body Shop International, which then became part of the L’Oreal Group. Simon has gained considerable experience both in the corporate and NGO sectors.

Simon is British, living in a small Swedish village by the sea, near Helsingborg with his wife and two sons. He has an MSC is Business Strategy and Sustainability from the University of London.
